Autocaravanas del Sol accessible to all

The Autocaravanas del Sol web pages have been designed and revised according to the guidelines defined in the document Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG 1.0) established by the WAI group belonging to W3C. The objectives of these guidelines are to facilitate access to information available through the internet to all citizens. Among the main measures taken are the following:

  • • Images. Alternative versions in text mode for all graphics have been included.

  • • Text Size. The fonts used in our web page have relative dimensions, which mean that the user can control the size from the browser he is using. Furthermore, the user can select three different sizes from predetermined sizes on this site.

  • • Keyboard shortcuts. Provide access to different sections in an easy and direct way. Listed below are the main shortcuts available on the web:

    How to activate keyboard shortcuts depends on each browser and their version. The most frequent are:

    • Microsoft Internet Explorer

      Using Microsoft Internet Explorer, from version 4:

      Windows: ALT + shortcut letter + ENTER.

      Macintosh: CONTROL + shortcut letter + ENTER.

    • Mozilla Firefox

      Using Mozilla Firefox:

      Windows / GNU/Linux: SHIFT + ALT + shortcut letter.

      Macintosh: CONTROL + shortcut letter.

    • Flock

      Using Flock:

      Windows / GNU/Linux: SHIFT + ALT + shortcut letter.

      Macintosh: CONTROL + shortcut letter.

    • Netscape

      Using Netscape from version 6:

      Windows: ALT + shortcut letter.

      Macintosh: CONTROL + shortcut letter.

    • Opera

      Using Opera from version 7:

      Windows / GNU/Linux / Macintosh: SHIFT + ESC + shortcut letter.

    • Apple Safari

      Using Safari from version 1.2:

      Macintosh: CONTROL + ESC + shortcut letter.

    • Konqueror

      Using Konqueror from version 3.3:

      Macintosh / GNU/Linux: CONTROL + shortcut letter.

  • Note: Camino, Galeon, Omniweb and earlier versions of Web browsers listed here do not support keyboard shortcuts.

  • • Design, navigation and interactivity: The design of this website follows the precise standards set by the W3C with particular stress upon the NAU. We have tried to make the navigation coherent throughout the site, following the same structure throughout all the pages. Furthermore, we have included links for direct access to content pages and we have tried to avoid as much as possible the use of Javascript to interact with the site. If your browser does not support the use of style sheets (CSS) the content of the pages will remain legible through the formal semantic structure and the separation of information and its graphical presentation.

  • • Level of accessibility: The web site has been validated with the tools TAW, HERA, and Cynthia Says among others, and checked with different devices, the level of accessibility is Triple-A (AAA) in compliance with the Triple-A norms (AAA).
